Example Battle

The following will depict a beybattle between NPC's Adam and Derek. This is a "test" battle designed for players to understand how the system works.

Adam's Stats:

Attack: 4
Defense: 1
Stamina: 2
Combo: 2
Special: 1
Hit Points: 4

Derek's Stats:

Attack: 1
Defense: 4
Stamina: 2
Combo: 2
Special: 1
Hit Points: 4

As you can see both are focused on one attribute each, Attack (Adam) or Defense (Derek).

ADAM

"I challenge you Derek! Prepare to face my super awesome attack!" he grins as he makes his declaration. Filler filler filler filler, etc, etc, etc,

DEREK

Looking across at his friend he nods and draws his Ultimate Defense UBER, setting it on his launcher, "Very well Adam, but you'll lose, you'll never be able to pierce my perfect defense."

Derek has won the dice roll with a 5, therefore he'll make the next post and start the battle off. At this point both players should assume they've launched as soon as Derek made his dice roll to decide initiative.

Derek blinked impassively as his UBER landed dead in the center of the BeyStadium, Adam's circling around quickly. Looking from the battle to Adam he flourished his hand, UBER beginning to move in an uncharacteristic movement.

"UBER Defenders Shield ATTACK!(Attack: 1)" he yelled out throwing his arm out in front of himself dramatically, in the same motion UBER shot out towards Adam's Beyblade.

Derek has managed a power 6 Attack while Adam Rolled a 4 for a Defense of 5.

Adam loses the exchange and takes a point of damage bringing him down to 3 HP he must post this.

ADAM

Caught off guard Adam watched as UBER smashed into his PWN with more force than he figured the slow moving defense type could muster. Shaking away the disbelief he grit his teeth. "That's it, COUNTER ATTACK NOW PWN! (Attack: 4)"

There was no way he'd lose in an attack exchange!

So, Adam really isn't doing well, he rolled a Attack with a power of 9, however Derek just rolled a 10 Defense. Adam lost that exchange so takes another point of damage.

He smirked as PWN barely made a dent in UBER, "Looks like you've still got a lot to learn Adam, eat this."

Snapping his fingers suddenly UBER went out for another attack, but this time it would be two!

"UBER twin shield smash! (Attack: 1; Attack: 0; Combo: 1)"

Since Derek rolled twice for his chain attack and expended a Combo point, Adam has to roll twice as well.

ADAM

Adam is finally doing well, he defended against Derek's first attack then defended against his second chain attack.

For reference Derek's rolls totaled to: 4 and 4

Adams: 6 and 5. Adam's second roll got a +2 bonus because of his first successful defense. However if he'd rolled a 3 on his first, his second roll would have been -1 versus +2 bringing it to 1 instead.

ADAM

Special: 1

Derek's attacks were becoming predictable for him and he found he was able to dodge them easily. As he dodged the last one PWN struck out with a heavy hit sending UBER flying.

"Alright now, while he's hurting use your special attack PWN SUMNOOBS! (Attack: 4; Special: +3 Attack)"

So Adam has used his Special Attack, now is when Derek can utilize his Special Defense and roll as well.

DEREK

He wasn't about to let himself be hit by that special attack without try to defend, he growled and punched his fist into the air, "UBER use your HAX defense now! (Defense: 4; Special: +3 Defense)

So, both tied with a total of Attack 12 and Defense 12, they BOTH Take a point of damage bringing both players down to 1 HP.

The massive explosion nearly knocked him off his feet. UBER had survived the attack but was looking weak. It was time to end things... then and there. Except he'd do it with his specialty, Defense.

(Pass Turn)

Derek passed his turn over to Adam, now Adam has a chance to finish things off or have a draw, watch how this one ends

He smirked, "Just what I expected, now it's time to finish you off and claim my victory!"

"PWN double NOOB SMASH attack! (Attack: 4: Attack: 3, Combo: 1)"
