Because you need to acquire 1500 BeyPoints before you can acquire Level 1.

As a bonus being one of the starting players here though you'll gain a random itemfrom the three we currently have in the system, a Metal Face, Launcher Grip, or BeyLauncher. In your case you gained a BeyLauncher

and how do i do battles? :S

There is also a test battle there. I'll have NPC's setup as well within a day or two so players can gain points. You'll only gain 10 points from these NPC's though.
