Am no more a Mod here!
hello all, after i saw this forum , i felt that a beyblade RPG might be a huge success. but it being on forumotion made it very hard to improve, forumotion makes forums really limited.
the potential i found in the idea of a beyblade RPG made me think of something better,.. so i desided to make this thing. i contacted King about helping me improve it but he didnt like the idea of leaving his forum (and he has all the right of doing that). so he told me that he is sorry but if i did make my own RPG site he will have to remove me from being a mod. anyway,so i completed the work on my own . after about a week of hard work i was able to accomplish what i wanted.
its here: http://mfgalaxy.consoleworld.net/forums/index.php
check this out: http://mfgalaxy.consoleworld.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=5&pid=68#pid68
ok, in the end i would like to say that i wont leave this place even if am not a mod any longer. i will still be an active member . and am also ready to form an affiliation if King wants to.

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
Well, that was... random. You should've waited for kings return, so he wouldn't be so shocked by this. Well, theres now another site to make mistakes on and be overly active and annoying.
Are you sure this is the right route to take?

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
If I joined I wouldn't be doing much. My role here allows me to oversee a system I'm familiar with, am happy with, and don't have to constantly update.
Your gameplay system is something I considered, however making points for individual parts took away from my vision of the style of RPG here. I'm also pretty involved outside of the WBO with here (the BBU), work a near full-time job, and nurture other hobbies besides beyblade like Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, etc. My time slots are limited and while I like juggling stuff, there is only so much I'll put out there.
Even if you're leaving here as a mod, the site won't close down, your work load increased less, but joining your site as an admin and doing very little seems like a poor idea. I may join as a regular member, but right now I'm not overly drawn to it.
Another thing you should understand, going off and making your own site while modding one and supposedly drawing people to it, and then recruiting two admins from ANOTHER site they already put time and effort into after you've basically created your RPG/site is really really... well, dumb. Seriously, from my stand point you basically recruited players for your forum while you were supposed to for us, obviously you didn't put any effort into it, or you simply didn't. It's fine, and I really don't think it's anything personal, but do put things into perspective a little. King and me working on your game would only be counter-productive to the BBU, in fact it really would effectively close this place down.

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
you dont understand, i meant making the other site yours as it is mine. instead of a (forumotion) forum. because there you can do alot of more stuff there.
yes i meant closing this and making a better one, you cant say that having a shop wont make people more exited to join?
i see your point of view, and i told you, when i started i meant to make it instead of this one. for all of us, we couldve took the same nice battle ways and stuff to the other forum so we can improve it more there.
i hope you understand what i meant. i never meant to do a bad thing here. i only wanted to make it better but you guys didnt want to, so i had to do it alone.
and i didnt steal members from here! do you mean this thread?

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
See, you didn't like the host site to begin with, that's fine, but you basically just said you never intended to put any effort into the BBU in the first place.
Never said you stole members, you never even bothered to recruit members like King assumed you would. Basically, you just worked towards your own goals, which is fine, but again, I brought it up to bring up the perspective.
I dislike the idea of the shop, it promotes crappy, useless posting, and forces the RPG to toss in occasionally mundane items, as well as parts/items that NEED to make having a shop worthwhile. You'll also need to be able to balance things in the way that doesn't tilt the game in favor of post whores/elite community members, shops are tough, and me as a seasoned Role Player find them redundant. Regardless, different game/forum, different styles, that's fine, just not my particular cup of tea, kinda like how you feel a shop is necessary while I don't.

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
no id dint say this
i tired to help by making a banner and a .tk account. and talked to some of my youtube friends to join here. the idea of a better forum isnt that old. i thought of it before a couple of weeks only.
and what do you mean with:
and forces the RPG to toss in occasionally mundane items, as well as parts/items that NEED to make having a shop worthwhile???

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
I did, but the list'll be small and no where near as extensive/focused as a full fledged shop.
There will definitely be some nice items there, some for fluff, others for power boosts. My main goal is to introduce inter-player trading, not a shop. That's an economy system, not a shop system.
Trading items, etc.
We've got three in the system so far, a few more may be added, and acquiring them will be randomized, not bought. Hopefully at least, balancing is always an issue, and usually I won't release something until it's balanced.

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
i can see your point of view, but i believe being able to actually buy your parts is exiting for members. firelord. your a member, what do you think? wont it be cool if you can fully customize your beyblade and buy its parts from a shop that has almost all mfb released parts? along with the launchers and some power ups?
and all of this in an actual shop made by programs not a manually done one.
i doubt you can find mods for forumotion..
and can you explain what you mean with (balanced)?

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
Honestly Pegasis, this isn't the place to discuss stuff like this.
You have your views I have mine. Frankly, a store won't work well until I put more work into things, so while it's possible, and will be implemented, it won't be anytime soon. There will be actual thought, balancing (Fairness! What more can I say?), and testing done before a store system is brought here. As it stands, there is no point for one here.
The BBU style allows players to play with whatever beyblade they like, be it Quetz 90RF or Wolf H145BS and play on equal grounds. The only things that will affect them are the minor stat boosts from items (and every player has an item atm, along with the chance of acquiring more), their decision making, and finally, luck of the dice.
A store with parts bought is completely counter productive.
When I do have the BBU store open it will more or less provide player and beyblade status enhancement without a parts modification.

Re: Am no more a Mod here!

good luck king, as i said, i wont leave this site.. well be visiting it constantly..

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
Affiliation?? haha NO!! Dude your a little liar who useed my site so people would come to yours. I know what your plan was.
1. Act like you were banned from the WBO so I would make you a mod.
2. After a few days advertise your new site on my site and try to steal my members.
3. Make MFG more popular than BBU.
Well guess what?? IT DIDN'T WORK.
I WIN!!

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
WTF man! i never meant this... if i did i wouldnt have asked you to do the site with me before i started working on it..
look, i swear i never thought of making this site when i became a mod.. and there isnt something like your members.. they are all the beyblade community.. and are originally from WBO..
you shouldnt think like this.. am pretty disappointed.. i thought youll simply wish me luck or something. really think abut what you just said.. this was extremely offensive.
and what does the WBO ban has to do with this? you say i banned my self to become a mod here lol.
please King.. i thought we will still be friends..

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
Ack! What just happened? Pegasis WAS banned. Pegasis, maybe you should post an add for the BBU on MFG so that all hell doesn't break out. Unless it does before then.
I really want a peaceful solution to this (lol comming from a beyflame, part the WBO hater cult). Man, lets talk about this. Neither of these sites are wbo size. You both have different userbases. Perhaps an affiliation wouldn't be a bad idea?
Man, why is this have to be so hard! I'm officially scared!
As a mod from the MFG, i kinda have to side with Pegasis, but i will try to play switzerland through this one.
Pleez don't fight people. If this becomes as horrid as the whole Beyflames takeover, i might die on the inside.

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
well.. i offered an affiliation, which is the same as putting a BBU ad on MFG.
but if you want to make a thread talking about BBU there at MFG. its your right and ill keep it. remember that i never meant and will never mean to lie or have a fight. am Peaceful!

Re: Am no more a Mod here!
Okay sorry Peg, I'm truly sorry, can we still be friends? Still up for an affiliation?
