Roleplay Chat Discussion
So, as I posted on the WBO I'd be happy to discuss and help you work on a system for your Roleplay section of your website which I believe will be your main source of interest. Frankly, it should be, the other outside discussions will come later, unfortunately there are a host of other longer established sites which are larger, more popular, and more... focused. Your biggest chance would be to get others from those sites to roleplay here.
First things you need are:
- Rules
- Plot
- Character Profile Skeletons
Rules: I can you help you with this hopefully, though ultimately it will come down to how hands on your want to be and how free form you're going to allow players to be. The best thing I can advise is a six sided dice system of which I can give you a list of suggested stats an implementations. Regardless you will need a set here as Beyblades do revolve around battles, to ensure smooth roleplay and less conflicts, some sort of fair system needs to be put into check. MFB allows for this a bit, though the question will again be, how free form do you want this to be? A creation system can be put into place for custom/fantasy MFB's as well.
Plot: This is something the general base you have here interested in RP would need to decide along with yourself. What do people want to RP in? What do they want the focus to be, or do you want it to be a fantasy beyblade battle community? Either way, this part becomes tricky due to time zones and general interest. I suggest a discussion, but if you have something in mind you'll definitely want to post it up. As of now I have no idea what this roleplay is about.
Character Profile Skeletons: I saw them and frankly I was unimpressed. I think they could be better, again this seems to be attributed to lack of an established plot. A good roleplay needs a good cast of characters with solid backgrounds to work off of.

Well, I haven't really thought out the rules yet but I do have an idea for a plot. I was also thinking that you should also be able to free battle other players. Also, can you get on to the ACP or did I not make you an Admin correctly?

On the very bottom of any page it should say Administrive Panel or something like that.

Anyways, on topic again. Free battles won't be a problem I don't think. That's a pretty easy thing to get around and we can have pretty solid rules to avoid arguments and so forth. Do you know if your board can handle a dice roll option? If we can get 6 sided dice rolls we can make a fairly basic and fair battle system.

On the ACP there is a tab labeled Modules and there is a whole Roleplaying Mod with Char. Sheets, Dice rolls and all that stuff. Problem is I dont know how to use it so I was kinda hoping we could figure it out together.

So basically I just added the D6 Die (6 sided Die) to the board. Its at the bottom of the post box beneath the Preview/Send buttons. Select the D6 and then choose number of rolls. We'll figure out a bit of a system on how to use them later. Hmm... Let's make a new forum called Roleplay Discussion. We can shift this topic over there. If you could include a subforum titled: Roleplay Post Tests

So as you saw above, it shows the number after the type of dice used. First line is 1 roll, second is 2 rolls, third is 3 rolls.

Cool, I've gotta sleep right now, it's 5:30 am and I've got work. I'm on sporadically during the day but yeah... Regardless once the forum is created we can discuss on there. I don't really think it'll be incredibly difficult to nail down, in fact I already have a system some what laid out for us I'll get it ironed out on my end ASAP and show it to you. Essentially it'll be a point system that utilizes the Dice Rolls to rate a beyblades success. Stats to consider will be based off an Attack, Defense, Stamina. Dice rolls will add to a stat and the higher stat basically wins out. Regardless it'll make sense once I have it fully typed out.
